(Mt Tam) is the signature mountain of Marin County. Mt Tam is
comprised of three peaks, west, middle, and east. At roughly 2500
feet of elevation its peaks can be seen from most of the greater
San Francisco Bay Area.
beautiful middle peak location is home to two repeaters that are owned
and operated by the Marin Amateur Radio Society.
Operating on the frequencies of 146.700 MHz and 443.250 MHz using a
pair of Kenwood TKR-750/850 repeaters. Power is set to 25 watts for
continues duty operation. Tone is 179.9 for both repeaters. Repeater
control (not shown because it was hit by lightning) is a RLC Club.
